UPDATE 12/28, 5:55 a.m. — Police said early Friday morning that Chelsea had returned home and is safe.
PREVIOUS — Kansas City, Missouri police are asking for the public's help locating a missing 11-year-old girl.
Police say Chelsea Brown was last seen at home on the 5100 block of NE 44th Terrace at 4:15 p.m. Thursday.
She was wearing blue jean capri pants and a black shirt. She may have an overnight bag with her.
Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the KCPD Missing Persons Section at 816-234-5136.
