KCPD says missing 11-year-old girl found at fire station

4:30 p.m. | Police said Lakayia Horn was found at an area fire station. She will go to the hospital to be evaluated for any possible injuries or effects from the cold.

ORIGINAL | Kansas City, Missouri, police are looking for a missing, endangered 11-year-old girl in snowy conditions on Monday.

Lakayia Horn was last seen around noon in the area of East 23rd Street and Cleveland Avenue. It’s unclear where she was headed, but she was on foot, according to police.

She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and pink and gray pants, and she had a leopard-print blanket with her.

Lakayia is 5 feet 5 inches tall and 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Her family is concerned due to her age and the weather conditions.
