KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating after a man who had been shot was found dead in a burning home.
Just before 7 a.m. Wednesday, the Kansas City Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 7100 block of Strupwood Court. When they arrived, they found a man with no signs of life in the home.
Police said the man appeared to have been shot.
There were no other people inside the house.
KCPD is investigating the man’s death and are waiting for the medical examiner’s findings, as well as those of the KCPD Bomb and Arson unit.
