A civilian vehicle collided with a Kansas City, Missouri, police officer who was heading to a call with lights and siren on driving down Prospect Avenue on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019. No one was injured in the collision.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A police officer was involved in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on Prospect Avenue.
According to police, the officer was on Prospect Avenue, responding to a call with lights and sirens on, when a green Honda did not yield and struck the police vehicle at Truman Road and Prospect Avenue.
Police said there were no injuries in the incident.
The intersection was closed for a while to clean up the collision.
