KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One woman is dead and a man is hurt following a shooting in Kansas City, Missouri.
According to the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department, officers were called to the scene of Independence Avenue and Indiana Avenue around 11:15 p.m. Monday.
When officers arrived, they found both victims on the south sidewalk.
The female victim was declared dead at the scene and the male victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
There is no suspect information at this time.
