UPDATE | KCPD said on Wednesday morning that McWhirter had been found and is safe.
PREVIOUS | KCPD has asked for help locating a missing man with medical conditions that need treatment.
Pierre M. McWhirter, 27, is 5-feet-11-inches tall and 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen on July 28 in the 10,000 block of Hillcrest Road around 1:30 a.m.
According to police, McWhirter has a disability that renders him basically nonverbal and makes him suspicious of strangers. He is required to take medications.
