UPDATE | Police said shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday that Johnson had been found and is safe.

Police said 28-year-old Shawntae Johnson was last seen walking away from her home near Swope and Blue parkways around 3:00 p.m. Monday.
She is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green tank top with gray and black shorts that had writing on the waist.
Police said Johnson takes several medications daily. They said her aunt, who is her guardian, told them Johnson has trouble functioning on her own with her physical and mental conditions.
Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911 immediately.
