KCPD locates missing woman 'not familiar with Kansas City'

UPDATE Aug. 23, 5:03 p.m. | The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department announced Aug. 23 that Larch had been located and is safe.

July 30, 9:14 p.m. | Police in Kansas City, Missouri, are asking for help to locate a missing woman from out of town.

Mindy D. Larch, 36, was last seen around 4:30 a.m. on July 25 in the area of Prospect Avenue and Meyer Boulevard.

It’s unknown what direction Larch was traveling, but “she is not familiar with Kansas City and does not know anyone in the area,” according to a KCPD release.

Larch is 5 feet 3 inches and 128 pounds with blue eyes, brown hair and an “Arizona” tattoo on the left side of her neck. She has been diagnosed with multiple mental disabilities and requires medication.
