KCPS to provide lunch to students despite closures

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Despite classes being canceled due to road conditions, Kansas City Public Schools will still provide lunch to students free of charge. 

The district said it was to ensure that students had access to healthy meals despite the consecutive school closures. 

It will be serving sack lunches and hot meals free of charge to all school-age children from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the following locations:

Gladstone Elementary School
