KS Silver Alert canceled for missing Newton woman

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE, 1:15 p.m. | Ms. Arrowsmith was located and has been taken to the hospital for evaluation.

ORIGINAL STORY | A statewide Silver Alert was issued Friday morning for a missing Newton, Kansas, woman.

Doneva Arrowsmith, 74, was last ween at the Walmart in Newton around 4 p.m. Thursday.

She is described as 5-foot-1 and 160 pounds with gray hair, hazel eyes and glasses. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, maroon jacket, blue leggings, white shoes and carrying a brown purse.

Arrowsmith was driving a gold 2004 Ford Ranger with Kansas plates 481BIB.

She is dependent on insulin and has dementia.
