KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Lansing, Kansas, resident has been sentenced to a 155-month controlling sentence with the Leavenworth County Department of Corrections for attempted murder and possession of cocaine, stolen property and marijuana.

In October 2017, Andrew Foderaro, 21, shot an individual during a drug deal near Easton, Kansas.

He was located near the scene and taken into custody, where he confirmed that he met the other person to purchase cocaine and marijuana and did not intend to pay that person, according to a statement from Leavenworth County attorney Todd Thompson.

“Foderaro further acknowledged that after he obtained the cocaine and marijuana from the individual he pulled a Glock 9mm out of his vehicle and began shooting at the individual that brought the drugs,” Thompson said in the statement.
