KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Law enforcement is looking for a woman who robbed the Bank Midwest at 79th Street and Ward Parkway Tuesday afternoon.
The robbery occurred around 1:45 p.m. when a lone woman gave a bank teller a demand note.
The woman was described as in her 30s and approximately 5-foot-8-inches tall with a slender build. She was wearing sunglasses, a jean jacket, jeans and had her head covered with a scarf.
No one was injured and the woman did not threaten to use a weapon.
She fled with an unknown amount of cash in the direction of the McGonigle's market.
