KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Lawrence Police are investigating a shooting that injured two people.
Officers say two people were shot in the area of 16th and Haskell around 9:30 p.m.
Police say a male and female victim were taken to an area trauma center.
Officers say they have located and detained several people for questioning and will provide more information when it's available.
