Lawrence teen arrested on burglary, auto theft charges

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A teen has been arrested in connection with burglaries and vehicle thefts in Lawrence.

Lawrence police said that around 5 p.m. Sunday, officers took D’andre Cordray, 19, of Lawrence, into custody after discovering Cordray and others in a stolen vehicle in the 1000 block of North Third Street.

Cordray faces five counts of aggravated burglary, three counts of auto theft and eight counts of conspiracy. All charges are related to events in November.

A juvenile also was arrested in relation to the incidents.

Police also consider Cordray a “person of interest” in two additional vehicle-theft cases.
