Leawood police are searching for a man who tried to lure a kid into his vehicle the area of 89th and Fairway on Wednesday afternoon.
The suspect asked a boy if he wanted a ride while he was riding his bike home from school, officials said. When he said "no," the suspect said he had candy. When the boy said "no" again, the suspect turned away.
According to the Leawood Police Department, the suspect is described as a white male with orange hair and dreadlocks. He was driving a newer gray minivan.
