KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Lee Jeans brand is moving its headquarters out of Merriam, Kansas.
Lee’s parent company, VF Corporation, announced Monday it’s splitting into two companies.
As part of the separation, Lee is moving its headquarters to join the headquarters for the Wrangler brand in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Lee was founded in Salina, Kansas in 1880 and moved to Kansas City in 1917.
