KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Prosecutors announced Tuesday they have cited a Lee's Summit man for allegedly shining a laser pointer at players during the AFC Championship game.

Dwyan Morgan, 64, was cited for disturbing the peace. It's punishable by up to one year in jail or a fine of up to $1,000.

Video shot by 41 Action News in January showed a green laser pointed at New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Laser pointers are banned at NFL games.

In February, a Kansas City Chiefs spokesperson said the individual has been banned from future events at Arrowhead Stadium.

Morgan is scheduled to appear in court on July 17.
