KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Lee's Summit police arrested a woman Thursday afternoon suspected of robbing a bank.
The robbery happened around 3 p.m. at the Bank of the West branch in the 700 block of Northeast Chipman Road, according to a Lee's Summit Police Department news release.
A woman walked into the bank and handed a teller a note with a demand for money.
The woman left the bank and got into a car.
Police stopped her a short time later and arrested her without incident, according to the news release.
No charges had been filed by late Thursday afternoon.
