KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Lee’s Summit issued a “community safety alert” Saturday after finding small bags of suspicious candy at a local park.
In a social media post, police say the bright-colored substances resembled candies but may contain drugs and include fentanyl.
Police cautioned parents to talk to their children and teens about unknown substances and to report any suspicious items.
