KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are hoping for the best after the rescued a puppy from a pole Tuesday morning.
A tweet from Lenexa Police says officers spotted the puppy in the 9400 block of Ridgeview. The puppy was malnourished and suffering from hypothermia.
Officers took the puppy to a local animal shelter for treatment.
Anyone with information about who abandoned the puppy is asked to call Lenexa Police at (913) 477-7385.
