A Lenexa man is recovering in a hospital after being stabbed by his ex-girlfriend.
Police were called to the 11900 block of West 77th Terrace at about 6:30 p.m. on an armed disturbance call.
Officers found a 51-year-old male at the apartment suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to an area hospital, where he remains with non life-threatening injuries.
The man told police he answered a knock at his door by his ex-girlfriend. When he opened the door she reportedly stabbed him, and fled the scene.
Police later found and arrested her at her apartment in the 9100 block of Renner Road.
She was arrested on multiple charges, and the case has been forwarded to the District Attorney.
