On Friday morning, two more volunteers from Missouri drove to Louisiana to help with food distribution in the worst flooded regions of Louisiana.
American Red Cross volunteers from across Missouri are headed there to help with flood relief efforts.
Deadly flooding is now leaving more than 40,000 people without shelter. Right now, seven volunteers from the Kansas City region are in Louisiana. The American Red Cross Greater Kansas City Region said the best way people can help is to donate money.
