"We always prepare for snow days," said Kelly Wachel, the Executive Director of Public Relations for Lee's Summit schools. "And our students like to interact with us on Facebook and Twitter so we wanted to do something fun for them."
Wachel said Physioc is a personal friend and he was happy to help the district. After more than 27,000 views and 380 shares on Facebook, Wachel reached out to the Chiefs to get help to announce a snow day on Tuesday. She said Holthus was more than happy to help.
Not to be outdone, Liberty schools used a message from our own Gary Lezak to let everyone know there would be no classes on Monday.
