KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 30-year-old man was critically injured after being hit by a car in Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday morning near east 39th Street and Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard.
According to KCPD, a driver was heading north when the man ran into the street and was hit.
The man was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries.
The driver was released at the scene.
