One person is dead following a shooting in the 1700 block of Central Avenue in KCK.
Police were called to the area on reports of shots being fired just after 5 a.m. Sunday morning.
While officers were investigating, they received a call of a walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital.
Authorities responded to the hospital and discovered a vehicle with several bullet holes in it, and the victim, a Hispanic male in his early 20s, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He later died at the hospital. The victim was later identified as Ramon A. Minjares-Garcia, 24, of Camargo, Chihuahua.
The Major Case Unit is seeking any information on a red, four-dour vehicle being driven by a black male that may have been involved in the incident.
