KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An offender at the Lansing Correctional Facility has died.
Joshua Kaiser died Saturday morning, and, according to a news release, the Kansas Bureau of Investigations "investigates all KDOC offender deaths."
Kaiser, according to the release, recently was paroled "to a consecutive determinate sentence of 32 months out of Reno County Kansas for aggravated battery."
His criminal history also includes convictions in Shawnee County, Kansas, for aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping and the sale, manufacturing, purchase, possession and carrying of an unlawful firearm. Kaiser also has a first-degree murder conviction.
