KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person died after a single-vehicle crash in Kansas City, Kansas, Monday night.
Benjamin L. Robinson, 39, of Kansas City, Kansas, was killed in the crash, which occurred around 7:50 p.m. near 10th Street and Kansas 5, according to KCK police.
A woman and an eight-month-old child were also in the car. All three passengers were transported to an area hospital, where Robinson died.
The woman and the child were treated for minor injuries, police said.
Police said the woman was driving north on 10th Street when she lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and struck a tree. Robinson was sitting in the backseat with the child.
