Man dies of injuries from shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Saturday afternoon shooting has become a homicide investigation.

Just after 12 p.m. on Saturday, Kansas City, Missouri, police were dispatched to the 11400 block of Grandview Road on a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man, later identified as 29-year-old Myronta Jackson, laying in the parking lot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The man was transported to the hospital in critical condition. He died of his injuries Sunday morning.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline, (816) 474-TIPS. There is up to a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
