KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police said a man died as a result of injuries he sustained in a July 2 crash.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol recently notified police of the man's death, which occurred July 3, KCPD said Thursday.
The crash happened as a motorcycle traveled west on Northeast Vivion Road near Northeast Chouteau Trafficway at a high rate of speed.
The driver failed to negotiate a curve, police said, and went off the road.
The driver was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Police said he was not wearing a helmet.
