Man found dead in KCK; police investigating as homicide

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man was found dead in Kansas City, Kansas, on Monday night, and police are investigating his death as a homicide.

Around 4:30 p.m., KCK police responded to a residence in the 2200 block of Franklin Avenue to attend to a non-responsive male.

The man was found dead inside the residence.

On Wednesday, police identified the victim as 19-year-old Angelo M. Ramirez of KCK and said his death was considered a homicide.

Ramirez was the sixth teen to be killed this year in KCK, according to data provided by police.
