KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man was found shot and injured late Thursday outside a Raytown home that was on fire, according to police.
Raytown police responded to the home in the 6700 block of Harvard Avenue around 10:40 p.m. Officers found the man in the front yard of the residence, suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition, though police said he was conscious.
Fire crews were called to the scene after officers saw there was a fire in the residence.
Raytown police are investigating the incident. No suspect information was immediately available.
