KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Carrollton, Missouri, man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in Carroll County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at the intersection of J Highway and YY Highway.
The driver of a 2004 Hyundai Sonata traveled off the right side of the road and went through a fence before striking a ditch and overturning the car.
That driver was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
He was later identified as 55-year-old Shawn Cowger.
No one else was involved in the crash.
