KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police are investigating a fatal crash that happened late Tuesday night.
The crash happened around 11 p.m. at U.S. 169 and Missouri 9.
According to police, a BMW sedan was southbound on U.S. 169 when the driver lost control.
The vehicle left the elevated roadway and crashed into a heavily wooded area.
The adult male driver was killed in the crash. He was identified as 56-year-old Glenn E. Jefferson of Lee's Summit.
There have been 91 deadly crashes in KCMO this year.
