KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A man who died in a Sunday night car crash was found in his car Wednesday morning in Kansas City, Kansas.
KCK police officers responded around 11:40 a.m. to the 6100 of Riverview Avenue to check the report of a vehicle in a creek bed, according to a police department news release.
Officers found the vehicle in the creek bed, which is in an area that made it hard for passing motorists to see, the release stated.
Investigators determined the crash happened as the vehicle traveled west on Riverview Road.
The vehicle ran off the road, hit an embankment and landed in the creek, police said.
The victim's name has not been released.
