KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man suffered critical injuries after being shot near parking garage in Westport early Saturday morning in Kansas City, Missouri.
Police were called to the 400 block of Mill Street shortly after 3 a.m. and, upon arrival, discovered a 29-year-old black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
KCPD officers began lifesaving measures and shooting victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. He was in stable condition and talking with officers after undergoing surgery.
The suspect vehicle was stopped in Kansas City, Kansas after a pursuit.
No other details have been released.
