UPDATE, 6:03 p.m., Dec. 20 | Police have identified the victim as 30-year-old Bryce Pulliam.
EARLIER | A man was shot and killed near 18th & Kansas Avenue late Thursday night.
Police were called to the scene shortly before midnight on a reported shooting.
Upon arrival officers located a man suffering gunshot wounds.
He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
One person of interest has been detained.
Detectives and Crime Scene officers were processing the scene and canvassing the area for witnesses.
