KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department says a man was taken to the hospital for burns he suffered in a fire overnight.
KCFD was called around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday to the 2600 block of Lawn Avenue.
The first arriving company noted smoke and fire showing from the two-story home, per KCFD.
The fire was brought under control a short time later.
One man was taken to the hospital for burns sustained in the fire.
KCFD did not have information on his status.
The cause is under investigation.
