KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Fire Department says a man was taken to the hospital for burns he suffered in a fire overnight.
KCFD was called to the 2600 block of Lawn Avenue about 2:30 a.m.
KCFD says the first arriving company showed smoke and fire showing from the 2-story home.
The fire was brought under control a short time later.
One man was taken to the hospital for burns sustained in the fire.
KCFD did not have information on his status.
The cause is under investigation.
