KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A man and woman were shot while sitting in a vehicle in the 2700 block of Denver Avenue shortly after 11:00 Sunday morning.
The man later died at an area hospital, and the woman is listed in serious condition.
About 11:20 police just east of 27th & Denver heard the sound of multiple gunshots, and drove to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the pair inside a parked, white Dodge sedan.
Both were suffering gunshots and were transported.
The man later died.
No other information has been released, and anyone with any information is encouraged to call police.
