KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Merriam, Kansas, police announced Sunday night that Preston Ladd had been found.
Ladd — 5-feet-3 with brown hair — was the missing 15-year-old, who was last seen Friday at Shawnee Mission North. He didn't return home after school, but he turned up safe two days later.

Police told 41 Action News on Saturday that Ladd has run away from home before and thanked the public for the calls it received attempting to help locate him.
