KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is dead following a crash Tuesday in Miami County, Kansas.
The driver of a 1998 Ford Escort struck a John Deere mower, occupied by one man, at 335th Street between Crescent Hill and Plum Creek roads, according to a news release.
The man on the mower, Ralza Manly, 89 of Osawatomie, was taken to Miami County Medical Center, where he was declared deceased, the release stated.
Three juvenile passengers and the driver of the Ford Escort were not injured.
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office, Osawatomie Fire Department and Miami County Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene. The sheriff’s office is investigating the crash, the release stated.
