Silver Alert for Liberty man canceled- he has been found safe

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE: Feb 14, 5:00 a.m.: The Missouri Highway Patrol says Mr. Grady has been located safe.

The Missouri Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert for a 73-year-old Liberty man.

Charles Grady was last seen Saturday evening at a home near Nottingham Place and Nottingham Drive, just Northeast of US-291 and W. Kansas Street. He left home to pick up a relative at Children's Mercy Hospital and take them to City Union Mission but did not arrive at either place. At the time, he was wearing a tan coat, dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Grady is described as 5'8" tall, weighing 155 lbs. He has gray hair and blue eyes. He also has been diagnosed with depression and dementia.

He may be traveling in a dark green or blue 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt with Texas license plates saying HDP7842.
