KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Missouri woman drowned at Truman Lake on Friday after being swept downstream while wading in the water.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 33-year-old woman was attempting to wade across a low water crossing and was swept away just before 1 p.m.
She was pronounced deceased at the hospital later.
The woman was identified as Rebecca Feese of Warsaw, Missouri.
