KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An urgent bridge repair will force the Missouri Department of Transportation to close one lane of Interstate 29 on Wednesday.
According to MoDOT, “a large hole has developed on the bridge deck of the bridge” in the far left lane of northbound I-29 over U.S. 169.
The work is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday. All work is weather dependent.
A temporary patch is in place, allowing the lane to remain open Tuesday.
