KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A Union Pacific spokesperson said about 15 rail cars derailed Thursday morning at a Union Pacific railyard in Kansas City, Kansas.
The incident happened around 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Armourdale Yard, located at 1200 McAlpine Ave.
No injuries were reported and nothing spilled from any of the rail cars, per a statement from Union Pacific.
The cause of the derailment is under investigation by Union Pacific.
