KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE | According to KCPD, the driver of black Honda CBR motorcycle was driving northbound over 100 miles per hour. The driver was splitting between lanes when he approached and struck another vehicle losing control.
All lanes reopened around 3:45 p.m.
ORIGINAL STORY | A motorcycle crash Friday afternoon near Interstate 435 and 87th Street northbound will close all lanes for several hours and create delays.
According to the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department, the motorcyclist has serious, life-threatening injuries.
KCPD said the crash happened when the driver of the motorcycle rear-ended another vehicle.
