Police identify motorcycle driver killed in 2-vehicle crash in Kansas City, Kansas

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE. Aug. 5 | The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department has identified the victim as Jacob Radcliff, 33, of Kansas City, Kansas. The crash remains under investigation.

ORIGINAL STORY | A motorcycle driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Kansas City, Kansas, early Thursday morning.

The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department responded around 12:30 a.m. Thursday to South 47th and Melody Lane.

Upon arrival, an officer determined a motorcycle collided with a Toyota Corolla, causing the vehicle to catch fire.

Police say the motorcycle operator was taken to an area hospital, where they died.

The crash remains under investigation.
