A motorcyclist was killed in a crash at 87th and Monrovia in Lenexa shortly after 8:30 p.m. Friday night.
Witnesses reported the motorcyclist traveling west on 87th from Quivira at a high rate of speed. The driver lost control and crashed into the median at 87th Street Parkway.
Officers performed CPR before the adult male was transported to an area hospital. He was declared deceased upon arrival.
The identity of the male motorcycle driver has not yet been released.
