KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A motorcyclist was killed in a single vehicle crash on Interstate 49 just before 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says a single passenger on a motorcycle was killed in a crash NB on I-49.
While emergency vehicles were responding to the scene other motorists became involved in accidents. None of those are reported serious.
The highway is closed at J Highway just north of Peculiar. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.
