KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A motorcyclist died early Tuesday morning in a wreck involving a tractor trailer on Interstate 70.
Around 4:15 a.m., the motorcyclist struck a concrete jersey barrier just west of The Paseo exit on I-70 eastbound and was ejected, a Kansas City police spokesman said. He was then struck by a tractor trailer driving eastbound.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
I-70 eastbound was closed for several hours and reopened around 8:10 a.m.
The name of the motorcyclist has not been released.
