KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A motorcyclist is dead after an overnight wrong-way crash on Cookingham just west of Eastern.
KCPD said the Shoal Creek patrol responded to the scene just after 9:00 p.m. Thursday night.
An investigation showed that the victim, on the motorcycle, was riding eastbound on a Harley Davidson when they drifted across the center line into westbound traffic.
They were struck head-on by a car and died at the scene.
The driver of the car was not injured.
The victim has been identified as a 32-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, woman.
